1985 Bartlesville High Bruins Girls’ Track Relay Team

The 1985 Lady Bruins Relay team of Arlene Reese Sutton, Sophia Shoate, Julie Anderson Williamson, and Lee Ann “Missi” Dent Nash were large school State Champions in both the 400 and 800 meter relays.  Coached by Don Burt, this 1985 Relay team has held the BHS school record for their times in the 400 M relay (48.44) and the 800 M relay (1:42.60) for 33 years.  All four girls won All-State honors in track, in addition to Missi Dent’s All-State softball selection.
