Bill Berryhill
A 1969 graduate of College High School, Bill played on several championship caliber baseball teams. He was part of the 1964 Bartlesville club that played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. Five years later, he was the catcher on the 1969 College High School squad which claimed the Class 3A state championship. Also in ’69, Bill played on the Doenges Ford Injuns team that qualified for the American Legion World Series. He went on to play college baseball at the University of Texas and was the third team All-American catcher in 1972 while earning the first team spot on the All-Southwest Conference squad. During his three years with the program, Bill helped lead Texas to a 90-16 record. He finished with a fielding percentage of .997, and is still ranked in the top 10 among all UT catchers in that category. Bill currently lives in Waco, Texas, where he is an orthopedic surgeon.
