The Blazer Softball Organization

A group of local men led by Lew Ambler and Andy Anderson joined together to find somewhere for their daughters to play summer softball. In 1968 they purchased a piece of land and built the Blazer’s Softball Complex. Because of their help along with George Stoia, Lou Wamsley, Al Bunge, Frank Barbee, and Ron Swigart this group helped account for 9 High School State Championships. In 1982 the Blazer’s team finished 3rd in the Nation.
