Tim Pugh
Tim led the 1985 Bartlesville High School Baseball Team to the 5A State Championship. He also enjoyed much success as a member of the Doenges’ Injuns American Legion team. Tim remains one of the best pitchers in OSU Cowboy history. He ranks in the top 5 for single season wins with 15, pitching 113.2 innings and 104 strikeouts. Tim had 47 career starts, pitched 312.1 innings with 260 strikeouts and is first in career wins with 33. Twice named All-Big Eight, and earning All-American status, Tim was drafted in the sixth round of the 1989 draft by the Cincinnati Reds. After six years in the majors, Tim retired from baseball due to an arm injury.
